Eco Rangers News 2010/2011
We are very pleased to be able to tell you that Barley Close has been awarded the Eco Schools Silver Award.
We have been working towards this goal for a while, in January 2010 we completed an Eco review. As an eco council we decided on an action plan and introduced compost bins and started a saving electricity campaign. All the classes of Barley Close helped to write a school Eco Code, which is displayed in all the classrooms.
We have also had some great fun as the Eco council with trips to Bristol Zoo and Slimbridge.
We are very proud of our achievement and all this would not be possible without the support of our governor, Mrs Graham and the children and staff of Barley Close!
