Mrs. Edwards is the teacher in Y5 and the TA is Mrs. Wilson, she will be helping the class every morning throughout the year in their literacy and numeracy lessons.

Our usual PE days are PE on a Thursday and Swimming on a Tuesday. Some of the topics we will be covering this year are The Victorians, Indus Valley Civilization, A Village in India, Rivers and Coastlines, Changing States, Gasses, Life Cycles, Healthy Eating, Earth, Sun and Moon, Portraits, Moving Toys, Biscuits, and Musical Instruments.

We have a residential visit to Isle of Wight in May and also, a number of the children in the class play for the school football team.

Together with Year 6 we have been studying the works and styles of a range of Spanish artists.
