These past 3 weeks have been extremely eventful.
First, the 'Beast from the East' stopped us putting on our class assembly. However when the children finally got to perform it they made us all very proud. Myself and Mrs Prideaux especially :-) Well done Leopard Class!
Second, we had Parents Evening. Thank you to everyone that made their appointment!
Lastly we end the term with the Easter Play. Just a reminder that this will take place on Friday 23rd March at 2:30. We hope to see you all there! Please can I remind you that if you are bringing small children along with you, please be mindful of how quiet Year 1's voices are!
These past few weeks we have covered fractions and multiplications. Multiplication have proved to be difficult for the majority of the class therefore we will be covering this again next term. Please help your child at home by counting in 2s, 5's and 10's.
In English, we cover 'The Tiny Seed'. The class wrote their own ending to the story and created their own 'special' seed. This week we have recapped the Easter story. We have gone into a little more detail compared to their time in Reception. The children sequenced the pictures from the story and wrote the story focusing on the Beginning, Middle and End sections.
Thank you to all of our parent helpers this term. You do an amazing job. The children and staff really appreciate it!
Enjoy the next 2 weeks!
