  • Consultation on the proposal to reduce the admission number for Barley Close Primary School from September 2023

    Tue 02 Nov 2021

In consultation with the Governing Body, South Gloucestershire Council is proposing to reduce the admission number for Barley Close Primary School.

It is proposed to reduce the admission number from 60 to 30 with affect from 1 September 2023.

The proposal will bring the admission number more closely in line with recent and anticipated admissions to the school and will apply to new applications received for first admission to the Reception class in September 2023. The new admission number will age through the school and reach 30 across the age range over a period of 7 years.

No other alterations to the admission arrangements at the school are proposed and children currently attending the school will remain on roll.

Any comment on this proposal may be sent to South Gloucestershire Council by email to charlotte.johnston@southglos.gov.uk or by post at the following address:

    Charlotte Johnston
