All Around the world:
Our topic in Leopard class this term is: All Around the world
We have a fun packed term, with Bonfire night and Christmas just round the corner! During our English, we will be writing instructions on how to make gingerbread men (and baking them!), writing letters to Santa and writing a fact file about Father Christmas.
For our Maths, we will be covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as part of our calculation lessons. As well as this, we will be learning about 2D and 3D shapes, measuring the weight of different items (heaviest/lightest) and exploring number and place value (looking at numbers passed 50).
Linking to our topic:
For RE, we will be exploring Christianity and Judaism, as well as looking at the Christmas story. We will also be finding out about Diwali. In computing, we will be designing and digitally painting Christmas trees. In History, we will be looking at Guy Fawkes and as part of this, we will be making fireworks, as part of our Art and Design.
I look forward to another busy and fun term:)
