    BE PART OF THE ADVENTURE
The BLOODHOUND engineering adventure provides us with a once in a lifetime opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
The Team invite you to design, build and race your own rocket car as part in an exciting family workshop at their Technical Centre in Bristol. The workshop is aimed at families with children from 6 years and upwards.
Following an interactive presentation on the science and engineering behind the jet and rocket powered BLOODHOUND SSC and an interactive tour of the workshop, including the 1,000mph car its self, your children will get down to the important job of designing their own rocket car racers.
Crafted from blocks of foam, the model rocket cars come in all shapes and sizes and once fitted with axles, wheels and eyelets on the underside to hold the car on to the guide wire, the teams will head out to the car park for racing where they'll reach speeds of up to 55mph.

    Fri 12 May 2017
I have been persuaded by some year 5 boys to 'un-ban' fidget spinners for play and lunchtimes only. They will be removed in seen in lessons unless the teacher, you and the child have discussed using them in lesson time because of a specific need, which is what they have been designed for.
