Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Friday 15th March
School council have voted and decided that on Red Nose Day they are asking children to come to school dressed in red with a funny hairstyle. Each class will also be doing something "Funny for Money". Please bring in a £1 donation.
Thank You on behalf of School Council
A very big Thank-You to all the parents who are supporting their children to read at home at least 3 times a week. The number of times each child reads each week is monitored in every class. In some classes we have between 75-100% of children reading at least 3 times a week whilst in others it still remains as low as 30%. If you are not listening to your child read at home please do so – your child needs your support.
Please remember to date and sign the yellow reading record each time your child reads.
Thanks for your support.
Walkers are committed to reducing the impact that packaging has on the environment and they want to make it easier for customers to recycle crisp packets. They have partnered with teracycle to offer customers a simple and free solution. The crisp packets are cleaned and shredded and then turned into plastic pellets. These can then be used to make plant pots, watering cans, cool bags and benches.
We have a box in the main entrance and dinner hall for crisp packets to be put in. When we have collected lots we can send them away on your behalf.
They cannot accept- popcorn bags, crisp tubes, pretzel or meat snack bags.
