Week 1

What a wonderful first week back. This week we have started our units on Kensuke's Kingdom and Roman Britain. We were lucky enough to have a secret assembly which turned out to be Andy from Andy and the Oddsocks! The children and adults really enjoyed this experience.

Week 2

What a busy, busy week we have had. Starting off this week we have had the children working with the wonderful team from the kitchen in cooking workshops. They all made a wonderful tuna pasta that the children enjoyed eating after. Following this we had the excitement of Geography week. With a visit to the explore dome to learn about different environments around the world. We also had a wonderful time on our class trip to Caerleon in Wales. We looked many different areas of Roman life including how their armies trained and how they dressed. The children finished the week off with a golfing afternoon led by Mrs Burton.

Week 3

A short but packed week in Chameleon class. We have began out preparations ready for sports day. We looked at skipping and relay races. The children have also spent time honing their skills of possessive apostrophes and hyperbole in our english lessons. This has led to some wonderful pieces of work being created. In maths we have been focusing on fractions and how to compare and convert between proper and improper fractions along with mixed numbers.

Week 4

Another busy busy week for Chameleon class. This week we were focusing on developing our writing skills for our final outcome of a recount of Michael's time on the island. In our Math lessons we focused on fractions and how to compare and convert them. We have also spent time this week focusing on our multiplication in preparation for the multiplication times table check in term 6.

Week 5 - Sports Week
