  • Chance to be on a TV programme

    Tue 07 Jan 2020

My name is Clemmie and I’m writing from a London based TV Production Company called Lion TV; creators of popular shows like Horrible Histories, Homes under the Hammer and Inside the Tower of London.

We are currently in production on Series 2 of our hit CBBC show Step Up To The Plate. The show sees top chef Allegra McEvedy and service expert Fred Sirieix challenge children to run their own restaurant, both in the kitchen and front of house, with the two most successful contestants being crowned Head Chef and Maître D’ respectively.

The first series was a great success and showcased some incredibly talented chefs and wonderfully warm service staff. Episodes and clips can be found on iPlayer and at the programme homepage: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0007lkh

We are now casting children in school years 5 – 9 for the next series. Kitchen Crew members need to have a passion for food, a sound knowledge of ingredients and an ability to keep cool when it gets hot in the kitchen. The Restaurant Crew need to be organised, welcoming and calm throughout the chaos of service.
