  • KS2 Maths Workshop

    Thu 19 Dec 2019

Thank you to the parents that came into the KS2 Maths Workshop this morning. Adults and children all had a great time and I think we all learned lots of exciting things! It was great to see the children sharing their knowledge with members of their families.

  • Winter vomiting virus

    Thu 12 Dec 2019

Norovirus is circulating in South Gloucestershire. Whilst levels are no higher than usual for this time of year we're seeing outbreaks particularly affecting schools. Norovirus, also called the "winter vomiting bug", is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It can be very unpleasant and is highly contagious. bit.ly/norovirusSW

Good hand hygiene is the best way to stop norovirus and give you and your loved ones the chance of a healthy Christmas this year. Washing your hands frequently with soap and water is the best way to stop it spreading. Alcohol hand gels do not kill norovirus.

From the Public Health and Wellbeing Division, we wish you a healthy Christmas and a Noro-free New Year! And don’t forget, good hand hygiene is for life, not just for Christmas… #NoNoro4Xmas

    Peer Support Groups

Peer support is where people meet and share their own experiences to help each other. It focuses on positive strengths, not weaknesses and works towards wellbeing.

Come and meet others, learn from each other and share what helps to improve and maintain good emotional wellbeing.

These groups are facilitated by a wellbeing worker to ensure everyone always feels welcome and that it's a safe space to talk.
