Well done Miss Beak, this year we have achieved the Silver Sports Mark Award!
Great Western Air Ambulance have created a treasure hunt to raise much needed funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. In various locations around Bristol we will be placing photographs and images of the Air Ambulance and Crew. Attached is a poster explaining the event.
The objective is to locate at least 6 images and using the 'tincanFX' app, with internet connection, view them on a smart phone or ipad/tablet and answer the question asked.
Once at least 6 questions have been answered, the entry form can be completed on line and there will be a chance to win prizes including family tickets to 'The Fleet Air Arm Museum' and other great attractions!
There is also the opportunity for a local Primary school to win a class visit to the Air Ambulance Hanger in Filton! This wonderful prize will go to the school with the most nominations on the grand draw entry forms.
The event starts on Saturday 23rd July and runs for 5 weeks. Please visit our website www.tincantrail.co.uk for more details. As summer is approaching the new craze in apps in upon us. Works to create new bus lanes and bus stops
In July North Midland Construction will start work on installing the new MetroBus bus stops on the A4714 between Hambrook Junction and Emerson Way. Work will also start on the road widening for the new bus lanes. One lane in both directions will be closed so this work can be safely carried out. This work will be completed by November 2016.
