• MAD biking

  Year groups 3 - 6 had a visit from the MAD bikers today. They amazed us with mountain bike tricks and taught us about bike safety.

• Day 2 in the Wye Valley

  The children have completed their first two activities of the day.  Blindfolded team work involving toxic waste and archery.  We have a few Robin Hood's and Maid Marion's!  The weather is overcast but dry.  

  The children are behaving really well and Mrs Capel is very proud of them.

• Good Morning from Wye Valley

  All campers have slept - some by 9.30, others kept their excitement going until just after 10 ............   

  Boy room and cherry room were the first to sleep!

   

  First risers began around 6.30 this morning, so they've done very well.  All brushed teeth and showered last night.  Room inspections are proving a success!!

• Year 4 residential

  Mrs Capel called to say that a lovely day had been had by all.  Unfortunately she still has no signal, so cannot update twitter as she would have liked.  All the campers are having a great time and really enjoying their activities and the weather is lovely.

• Year 4 Wye Valley Update

  Update from Mrs Capel to say the children had lunch when they got there, which they all enjoyed.  This afternoon they had their first activities.  All well.

  Year 4 have arrived safely at their destination.  They had a good journey.  Mrs Capel is having problems tweeting but we will try to keep you updated.

• English workshops - the materials

  Last week we had our English workshops as part of our book week. We had a fantastic turn out - 74 parents attended to learn about the English curriculum and have fun with their children. This is a great achievement in comparison to previous events, for example, in 2013 with held a parent event and we only had 4 parents turn up!

  Congratulations to all the children who came to school dressed as a book character today, we had a fantastic turnout and the children and staff looked amazing. It was a very difficult job to choose our winners!

• Stages 2015

  I just wanted to say a HUGE well done to all the Year 1 and 2 children who took part in Stages yesterday.

   

  The children were beautifully behaved and performed amazingly well.

   

  If anyone has any photographs or videos, I'd love to see them (I was too busy dancing along side stage)!

• English Workshops
