In academic year 2020-2021 the catch up premium was used to employ a teacher 2.5 days a week to run catch up groups and support children whose data showed gaps.
2021-2022
Term 1 was used to address gaps and complete baselines. Professional dialogue with teachers identified children who in term 2 would benefit from some additional support. This was in the form of tutoring. This was led by the Deputy Head teachers and TAs and focused mainly on reading in yr 1-6.
2022-2023
We ran two cycles of tutoring. Term 1-3 focused on maths and English across KS2. It was led by TAs and our DHTS. Term 4-6 focused on Year 6 and preparation for secondary school and was led by TAs.
